As Brown walks down Downing Street, no job no home no future, oh yes I almost forgot he will still be an MP earning £65,000 a year, and yes he has a posh pad to go to. What about all the people who are losing their jobs and homes on a daily basis, what have they got to look forward to.

Brown brought his downfall on himself. Whereas the working class have being working their b…ks off to make ends meet for a pittance and then get stabbed in the back by the very people who they voted into office. Gordon Brown, the man himself who instead of working for the benefit of the majority he worked for the benefit of the few. Brown and his mob created this mess so why should we pay for it.

We now have a coalition government with Cameron and Clegg who won’t be any different than Brown. The cuts in public services will be coming quick and sharp now all the talking is over. So now is the time to fight back, to tell them to stick their cuts where the sun don’t shine and come together in the fight to save jobs and services. So long Brown thanks for nothing.

That's great news - not only for the recognition of TUSC in the local area, but a chance to speak out against the introduction of academies in Stoke.

Anyone with half a brain knows there is going to have to be cut backs but these cut backs should be in the form of stopping high paid people paying low tax, cutting down on high paid ‘professionals’

I don't think we are in disagreement in this

Jumping on the MP expenses bandwagon

We aren't jumping on the band waggon. The Socialist Party (formerly the Militant tendency in the Labour Party) has been calling for a workers MP on a workers wage for all of it's existance. Check out Socialist Party member Dave Nellist's (militant tendency Labour party MP) record in parliament

How can you attack the lib dems who have not even really had a chance to put their policies into action. Anyone with half a brain knows there is going to have to be cut backs but these cut backs should be in the form of stopping high paid people paying low tax, cutting down on high paid 'professionals'. Jumping on the MP expenses bandwagon wont be winning my vote and has in fact put me off and im about as socialist as you get! This is something that has happened and as a result whichever party gets into power will go about making reforms. The way I see it is since ive been growing up I have seen the Conservatives mess things up... Now the Same with the Labour party and a chance should now be given to the Lib Dems to prove their worth. If all the smaller parties stopped bickering amongst themselves there might be a chance of stopping either Labour or the Conservatives from regaining power and causing yet more of the same repeated mistakes again and again.
