The Community School Action Group of Stoke-on-Trent are hosting a meeting  to discuss the merger of Mitchell High School with Edensor Technology College and Berry Hill High School with St. Peter’s High School, and the campaign against the proposed academy in the Bucknall/Bentilee area. Matt Wright has been invited to take part in this important meeting.

For the Socialist Party and the Trade Unionist & Socialist Coalition the future of  school provision is a crucial issue and we welcome the opportunity to support the Community School Action Group’s campaign.

 The meeting will take place on;

Wednesday 28 April 2010

Bentilee Neighbourhood Centre, Room 1, at 7.00pm.

 Members of the public are invited.

    That’s great news – not only for the recognition of TUSC in the local area, but a chance to speak out against the introduction of academies in Stoke.
